ITC Outline: Three days
The Instructor Trainer Course covers the following outline:
- Three 4h classroom sessions (12h total)
- 1-2 pool sessions
- 1-2 open water sessions
The ITC does not require teaching or performance assessments. However, all candidates must demonstrate proficiency in teaching analysis (providing feedback to instructor candidates) and be competent in all freedive disciplines and all skills on all Molchanovs course levels. Also, shooting video footage of dives (pool and open water) and analyzing footage is an essential skill to demonstrate.
ITC Online: 3+ Half-Days
The Molchanovs Instructor Trainer Course is mainly a classroom course. It is thus often held as an online course. The application procedure is the same as for the on-site ITC as described above. Usually the theory part of the ITC online takes 3 sessions of 4 hours (12h total).
Additionally, each candidate must provide video footage of themselves, demonstrating all disciplines. These videos will then be used during the ITC online sessions to analyze and discuss all freediving disciplines and skills.
The fee for the Online ITC is USD700 incl. access to all teaching materials. This fee excludes the yearly membership fee for the instructor trainer.
