In our new state of the art facilities, we offer world class teaching under the supervision of Instructor Trainer Oli Christen. He is the original author of the current AIDA Education Materials, a contributing author to the Molchanovs Wave System and a Member of the original Advisory Board of PADI Freediving. Our freediving center is equipped with a 20 metre pool with two lanes, a shaded space for warm-ups and a freedive shop. Further we have two fully air conditioned classrooms, the boats can take an unlimited number of freedivers and we have plenty of buoys ready to go.

Gili Air is a beautiful tropical island with great conditions for freediving, even in rainy season. Average visibility in the islands is 20-25 metres in the rainy season and over 30 metres in the dry season and the water temperature ranges between 27-31°C. Gili Air is easy to reach with two nearby international airports (Lombok and Bali) and it boasts gorgeous fun-freediving spots for all levels. Whilst training to become the best freediver you can be, you can encounter a myriad of tropical marine species and admire the beauty of the Gili Islands. Master Student Program

This is your ultimate 3-week program to become the best freediver you can. Discover your full potential in the master program and take your first step as a freediving professional.

The master program is open to freedivers with certifications levels AIDA4, Molchanovs Wave 3 or equivalent. If in doubt of your freediving-level we will conduct a one-day crossover-evaluation to the AIDA4-level with you (not included in the master program fee).

Instructor Course

As a Freedive Instructor you learn to change your focus from inwards to outwards: Your own diving must simply be top-notch, so you can give your full attention to your students. You learn to teach your passion of freediving to complete beginners as well as providing coaching to already trained freedivers.

With this 5-day crossover-course you will become a part of the worldwide AIDA Instructor Community and you can start teaching independently from any school!

Molchanovs Wave 2 Instructor Crossover

If you already are a certified freedive instructor you can become a Molchanovs Wave 2 Instructor with this 5-day intensive crossover course!

For successful candidates of our in-house Instructor Course, it takes only two extra days to attain the Molchanovs Wave 2 Instructor rating and certification.

As a Molchanovs Instructor you will be able to offer the following:

  • Run “Base Training”: The weekly base training of Molchanovs is provided by world-class athletes. These programs enable you and your regular students or freediving training guests to train with the latest techniques and most up-to-date system.
  • Teach “No-Fins” – introduce your students to the most challenging and gratifying style of freediving.
  • Teach “Monofin technique” – introduce your students to this beautiful technique, both in the pool and in the open water.

Molchanovs Wave 3 Instructor Upgrade

Are you already a Molchanovs Instructor and you have gathered a fair amount of teaching experience? Then it is time for you to step up your game and become a Wave 3 Instructor!

You will learn how to teach these skills:

  • Mouth-fill
  • Grouper Call & Frenzel
  • Packing / Reverse-Packing
  • Instructor Assistance
  • Reduction of RV / Enhancing VC
  • etc.

You can do this Upgrade Course in 2 days with us on Gili Air. Alternatively, you can also do it as a remote version – our Instructor Trainers walk you through the content wherever you are, after you provide a comprehensive video-series of your own freediving and teaching skills.

PADI Freediver Instructor Crossover Orientation

PADI offer many opportunities for a Freedive Instructor worldwide! The PADI Teaching Materials are amongst the most advanced in the whole industry and PADI’s business support is second to none. Become a part of this exciting development and be an instructor with the most widely known diving organisation in the world!

As a successful candidate in the Freedive Flow Instructor Course, or as an already certified Freedive Instructor of another agency, you can also become a PADI Freediver Instructor! All you need to do is the “Crossover Orientation” with one of your PADI Freediver Instructor Trainers.

When can you start?

You can begin your resident 3-week Master Student Program anytime. The same is possible for the PADI Instructor Crossover Orientation, which takes only two days. Just announce us via email when you would like to be here with us!
